Maison Passport

Legal & Privacy Notice

Effective draft date: 24 June 2026. This notice is prepared for operational launch and should be reviewed by counsel before public commercial rollout.

What the Passport does

Maison Passport creates product-centred records for item identity, condition, selected service history, owner archive support, resale/transfer support and optional cryptographic timestamping. It is not sold as an investment product and it does not require customers to understand or use blockchain tools.

Verified facts shown on this certificate are based on evidence reviewed by the issuer, dealer or platform. Original-brand authentication is shown only when contractually approved and evidenced.

The public verification page is designed for safe product-level information. Private owner archive links are separate, token-protected and intended only for the recipient chosen by the owner or operator.

Public information

  • Passport ID, product category, brand/model/reference where safe.
  • Masked serial or reference details where appropriate.
  • Authentication, condition and service summaries approved for public view.
  • Credential version, metadata hash, signature status and optional anchor status.

Private information

  • Owner identity, email, private archive links and transfer counterparties.
  • Invoices, payment details, internal review notes and sensitive provenance.
  • Full serials or identifying documents unless explicitly safe and necessary.
  • Documents uploaded for private review by Maison, reseller, brand or owner.

Privacy basis

Maison Passport processes personal data only where needed to provide the Passport service, operate owner archive and transfer workflows, support fraud/risk review, keep audit logs, respond to requests and comply with legal or accounting obligations. Access is role-based and sensitive content is kept off public certificate pages.

Typical data categories are business contact details, owner contact references, hashed emails, audit metadata, item evidence files, support communications and service/transfer request information. Public verification is product-centred and should not display personal contact details.

Terms boundaries

The Passport is an evidence and verification record based on information available at review time. It is not a financial product, not investment advice, not a resale price guarantee and not an affiliation claim with third-party brands unless expressly stated.

Brand names are used to identify reviewed items. They do not imply endorsement, partnership or authorisation by the original brand unless a specific written relationship is disclosed.

Owner and transfer rights

Owners may request access, correction, restriction or deletion of personal data where legally available. Some product, audit, transaction or accounting records may need to be retained where required for fraud prevention, dispute handling, compliance, tax/accounting or legitimate business recordkeeping.

Ownership transfer support is a review workflow. It helps document resale, gifting, inheritance or dealer-assisted transfer; it does not by itself prove civil title or replace required legal documents.

Blockchain and timestamping

Record integrity can be checked through the signed metadata hash. Blockchain anchoring, where present, timestamps a privacy-safe hash and does not store private owner data. Customer identity, owner email, invoices, private documents and sensitive evidence must remain off-chain.
